2Cor 3:15
But even unto this day, when Moses is read,
the vail is upon their heart.
Paul tells us that a veil blinded the minds
of the people when they would read the Old Testament.
He also said that even when Moses is read today,
there is a veil over their hearts. The word
"veil" means to cover-up, conceal
or keep secret. So Paul was saying that there
are many things that are hidden and kept secret
in the reading of the Old Testament and of Moses.
Why not ask God right now to remove the veil
from your heart and mind so that you may understand
the powerful truths He has hidden within the
Tabernacle of Moses? Jesus expressed just how
important the writings of Moses are in this
next scripture.
John 5:46-47
For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed
me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not
his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
In essence Jesus was saying if
you don’t believe what Moses wrote about
me, how can you believe what I have to say?
That's a powerful statement that expresses the
importance of the writings of Moses. In essence
if you can't believe that Moses wrote the story
of the life, death, resurrection and glorification
of Jesus Christ through the types and shadows
of the Tabernacle and Feasts--how can you believe
what Jesus Himself has to tell you!

Jesus was born Jewish in Israel and every Christian
has been adopted into His Jewish family, yet
unfortunately we know very little about this
beautiful heritage we have been given. It is
as if He has been adopted into our family instead
of us being adopted into His! Somehow we have
Americanized Jesus! Another startling revelation
to grasp is that the most important aspect of
Christianity is to rightly divide the Word of
God. This cannot be done without revelation
knowledge and understanding of Jewish customs.
Awesome wisdom, the magnitude of God’s
love toward us, and our holy call is hidden
within the imagery of Jewish Culture. The time
has come for us to embrace our Jewish roots
and accept our Jewish heritage to become king-priests
and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and every
man. By doing so, we become a true part of the
family of God and we help facilitate the culmination
of all of God’s desires for mankind.

I Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvellous light:
For years we have read, quoted,
and sang these words without understanding their
importance. First Peter 2:9 is a powerful scripture
that holds the key to the ushering in of the
glory of God and the culmination of all things
that God has purposed for mankind. Yes, the
key to manifesting the glory is in this scripture,
yet even more startling is the fact that the
key to this scripture is you! YOU are the key,
not the church as a whole, not your pastor,
your prayer group, your mother, father, husband,
wife, sister, brother or neighbor—but
Y-O-U! Just as it was the duty of the High Priest
in the Old Testament to enter into the presence
of God alone, yet on behalf of all men, YOU
have also been entrusted with that same power
and responsibility. Revelation 1:5-6 says that
the "Prince of the kings of the earth"
has made us kings and priests unto God. This
calling is not optional, if you are a child
of God washed by the blood of Jesus, you have
been made a king and a priest. Whether you are
a part of the five-fold ministry or a new convert,
the first call of God upon your life is to be
a king and priest unto Him.
The most alarming aspect of this
call is that most of us have never been taught
the functions or duties of these offices! As
a king we are to declare and decree the Word
of God, live as royalty and reign with dominion,
authority and power. As a priest, we are to
minister to God in the divine order of the Tabernacle,
stand in the gap for all men and worship the
Lord in spirit and in truth manifesting His
presence.
Jesus is the King-Priest and Prophet
of God. In order to become His manifested sons
made in His likeness and image we are to follow
suit and become like him. The time has come
for us to obey the will of God and enter into
our holy calling. Our Father always has our
highest good in mind therefore the benefits
of becoming a king-priest are astronomical.
Not only will we fulfill the will of God to
become one, but we will perfect the saints,
bring in the end-time harvest of souls and help
facilitate God's desire upon the earth.
What
an awesome testimony to follow you into eternity!
